A nationally represented poll conducted by Red C for Virgin Media has found that almost two thirds of people think Ireland shouldn’t take in an unlimited number of Ukrainian refugees.
Some 64% of the 1,000 people polled over seven days say there shouldn’t be an uncapped number of Ukrainian refugees being allowed to come into the country.
83% say Ireland hasn’t the capacity or services to cope with Ukrainians coming into the country.
44% of people say that they or their families have poorer access to services because of refugees and asylum seekers arriving into Ireland.
