A 46 year-old man has been arrested in the Strabane area of Tyrone, in connection with the shooting incident that took place inside the Regency Hotel in Dublin on February 5th this year.
Crime figure David Byrne was shot dead on the date, as part of an ongoing feud between two well known Dublin criminal gangs.
It is understood the man will appear in court in Belfast on Tuesday.
