Relatively mild day today, but cold temperatures are set to return by Monday

Today, Sunday, is expected to be a rather dull and mild day across Ireland, with temperatures reaching 13-14C in places.

This mild weather is not going to last however, as temperatures are expected to dip again by Monday evening.

Sunday evening/night will remain relatively mild, but Monday will turn colder as the day progresses. Lows of 0C or slightly below are forecast for Monday night.

The rest of the week is expected to remain rather cold, so no great weather improvement in sight.
