There are reports of widespread flooding around low-lying areas in an Irish city.

According to local officials, the quays and some nearby streets in Cork’s city center are covered in surface flooding.

The areas worst affected are Wandesford Quay, French’s Quay, Lavitt’s Quay, South Terrace, Rutland Street, the southern end of the South Mall, Morrison’s Quay, Union Quay, Fr. Matthew Quay, Trinity Bridge, the Lower Glanmire Road, and Horgan’s Quay.
