
The Irish Coast Gaurd along with local rescue services have been praised for their efforts after they managed to rescue a teeange girl who got into difficulty in Co Wexford on Wednesday evening.
It is understood the girl got into difficulty in the River Slaney in Enniscorthy at approximately 5pm this yesterday evening.
However thankfully the girl was rescued from the water by local rescue services before Rescue 117 airlifted to University Hospital Waterford.
Although the girl is suffering from shock it is believed her injuries are not be life threatening.
