A research team working on behalf of the World Health Organization (WHO) is on the ground in Wuhan, probing for the origins of the coronavirus pandemic.
The current theory is that the virus originated in bats and was then transmitted to another carrier before jumping onto a human host at a ‘wet market’ in the city.
Over 2m people have died from the disease globally so far.
