It’s absolutely shocking what’s happening in Australia at the moment. Authorities have ordered everyone near the fire zones in the State of Victoria’s east and north-east to leave immediately for fears of “extreme fire danger” over the weekend.
Premier Daniel Andrews has declared a State of Disaster for the first time and has granted special powers to manage the bushfire crisis in the State.
Two people have sadly been killed in the State’s fires and 28 people are still missing.
