Retail bloodbath in Dublin as six fashion stores are set to close across Ireland in the wake of the Arcadia group’s financial woes




A number of well-known fashion stores are set to close across Ireland due to severe financial issues arising at their parent group, Arcadia.

The closures will affect two Topshop stores, Dorothy Perkins, and Wallis among others.

All in all, the following stores will be shut for good over the coming weeks:

Dorothy Perkins/Evans outlet in Cork
Topshop/Miss Selfridge stores in Dublin’s St. Stephen’s Green
Topshop Topman in the Jervis in Dublin
Evans/Wallis store in Dublin’s Henry St.
Wallis outlet at Dublin’s Liffey Valley
Miss Selfridge store in Galway

The Arcadia group, owned by Sir Philip Green, is also closing down 17 stores across the UK.
