Taxi driver left with serious injuries after assault in Dublin




A taxi driver had to be rushed to hospital in Dublin after a serious assault overnight.

It is understood that the driver picked up a fare at the Ballybough crossroad on Dublin’s North Circular Road. The actual assault is alleged to have happened at Beaumont Road.

The driver was left with two broken ribs.

A man in his 20s was arrested in relation to this incident.
