For many years horses have been known to bring men on their travels, but now it seems that man has returned the favour as a horse was a passenger on the Luas Red Line earlier this afternoon.
It is understood the horse was brought on board by a man who was travelling through the city heading towards Tallaght. The picture which was taken by a fellow passenger named Una McCrystal has spread across social media in the matter of hours. Mrs McCrystal told reporters: ” The horse was on the tram for a few minutes before the driver spotted the animal on camera, and asked the owner to remove it.”
Una also said that the horse did not seem to be in any distress: “They literally had to take two fellas to push it back off.”
