Rip-off Ireland is truly alive and well, as SSE Airtricity has announced further price hikes.
From October 1, electricity bills will rise by over 35%, and gas bills by 39%.
The company is blaming ‘heightened geopolitical tensions’ for the massive increases, which will mean many people will not be able to pay their bills soon.
