The tragic trend of road deaths continues, following a crash in Co. Cork in which a female teenager died and three male teenagers sustained serious injuries. One of the injured is believed to be in a critical condition.
The deceased was a passenger in the vehicle. The driver, believed to be a 16-year-old boy, fled the scene but later presented himself to hospital.
The accident happened in Harbour View Road, Knocknaheeney, shortly before midnight last night. It is understood that the vehicle veered off the road and struck a wall.
