The tragic trend of road deaths continues today, following the death of a young man in a suspected hit-and-run incident in Cork overnight.
The incident happened on the N25 road near the village of Carrigtwohill at around 1am. The vehicle failed to remain at the scene.
Gardai are asking for anyone who might have been in the area at the time to come forward.
