Road carnage continues after elderly pedestrian dies in crash in Co. Longford on St. Stephen’s Day





The tragic trend of road deaths continues today, after a male pedestrian was tragically killed in a collision in Co. Longford on St. Stephen’s Day.

The incident happened at around 7pm in Cleenrath, Aughnacliffe, Co. Longford.

The driver of the vehicle, a 44-year-old woman, was not injured.

Gardai are asking for witnesses to contact Granard Garda Station on 043 – 6687660, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
