Road carnage continues today, as two men in their 20s died when their car struck a tree outside Ballina in Co. Mayo overnight.
A third male remains in a critical condition in hospital.
The accident happened on the Killala Rd (R314) just outside Ballina, at approximately 11.15pm on Monday night.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact Ballina Garda Station on 096 20560, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
