The grim trend of road deaths continues, as a woman in her 50s sadly lost her life last night when her car veered into a field just off the road.
The accident happend in Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare.
The woman, who was the only occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene.
This is the 13th road fatality since Sunday last.
