The tragic trend of road deaths continues today, after a motorcyclist died when his motorbike crashed into a ditch in Co. Cork.
The incident happened at around 5pm on Sunday afternoon near the village of Dromahane.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is understood that a number of passing motorists witnessed the crash and contacted Gardai.
