The tragic trend of road deaths continues, after a man in his 40s died following a collision in Cork.
The incident happened at around 1.15pm on Monday afternoon, on the N27 Cork to Kinsale Road.
It is understood that the deceased was the driver of a car that veered off the road and crashed into a ditch. He walked out of the crashed vehicle and was then hit by a truck.
