The tragic trend of road deaths continues today, following the death of a man in his 40s on an Irish road.
The single-vehicle collision happened near the village of Abbeyknockmoy in Co. Galway at around 6.30am.
The driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, sustained serious injuries and died in hospital a short time later
