The tragic trend of road deaths continues today, following the death of a young motorist on an Irish road.
A 22-year-old man passed away following a two-car collision on the R278 at Magheranrush in Calry, Sligo, at around 5pm on Thursday afternoon.
The driver of the second vehicle involved, a 35-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
