The grim toll taken by Irish roads continues today, after a 47-year-old male pedestrian sadly lost his life this morning.
The man was walking along the Bath Avenue-Lansdowne Road area in Dublin when he was struck by a car earlier today.
He received first aid at the scene, but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. The driver of the car was not injured in the incident.
