Rose of Tralee festival returns for the first time since the pandemic hit

It’s August at RTE and that means the Rose of Tralee Festival is taking place in Kerry.

According to RTE, 33 international Roses are due to take part in the Festival for the first time in three years since the pandemic.  The host, Daithi O’ Se took part in a photoshoot on Sandymount Beach before leaving for Kerry.

The show takes place on Monday and Tuesday of next week and will be broadcast around the world on the RTE player.  This year’s show won’t take place in the Dome as it is moving to the Munster Technological University’s Kerry Sports Academy.
