The Minister for Transport Shane Ross, has heavily criticised the Road Safety Authority labeling it’s operation as ‘amateurish’.
Mr Ross’s comments come after he and the department recently decided to reduce the number of directors at the national road safety service.
Mr Ross also claimed the authority was cavalier in it’s approach to carrying out basic operations.
In response the RSA say the transport minister’s comments were unfair, ill-judged and deeply offensive.
