The manufacturer of one of world’s leading weed killers has confirmed they are to appeal a ruling by a California Court.
It is understood the company Monsanto, who manufacture the Roundup weed killer product will appeal a ruling that will see them paying $290 million (€253m) to a man who was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
The company’s decision comes after a court found that they failed to warn groundskeeper Dewayne Johnson that their product causes cancer.
However despite the ruling, Monsanto say their product does not cause cancer.
