RTE have confirmed that the next series of Dancing with the Stars won’t take place.
In an announcement RTE said that the programme will not air in 2021 due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
An RTE spokesperson said that although the news is disappointing, they are aware that the interest of public safety is paramount during this time.
They added that it is hoped that the series can return in 2022.
