RTÉ DJ has thanked the public for their support as his homeless donation campaign has raised just over €23,000.
O’Shea who launched his campaign via twitter has revealed that he is stunned by the public’s support in recent weeks.
The legendary radio DJ started his campaign which is collecting donations for the Peter McVerry Trust on November 12th.
In a tweet O’Shea asked the 22,000 followers of The Rick O’Shea Book Club and the general public to donate €5 which is the equivalent of a paperback book to the Peter McVerry Trust.
