RTE don’t give any coverage to Ballymun protests other than to condemn them via Housing Minister

Large protests took place over the weekend in Ballymun, Dublin with very concerned Irish citizens voicing their concerns in relation to migrants being placed in their area.

Locals say they’re extremely concerned for their women and children with, what they say, appears to be mostly young men being foisted into their community.

Alongside that, they say that there was no consultation with the developments.

Meanwhile, RTE, Ireland’s national broadcaster ignored the large crowds at the protest even though there was a considerable garda presence.

Instead, they opted to wait until the Minister for Housing Darragh O’Brien condemned the decent Irish people who took to the streets in the freezing cold to voice their concerns.

O’Brien said he was deeply disturbed with what he saw on videos on social media.

He doesn’t seem too deeply disturbed by his massive wages, pension or RTE begging people for a licence fee.
