RTE’s Dancing With The Stars producer Larry Bass said the programme’s future is uncertain as the national broadcaster is continuing to lose funding, according to Radio Nova.
Bass said he believes that the TV licence should be increased in order to keep quality programming on the air.
He added that a lot of shows are at risk unless the current fee of €160 isn’t increased.
The producer’s comments come as the National Broadcaster previously stated that it is currently losing revenue annually.
