On Dublin’s City Quay yesterday night, there was an attack on tents housing fifteen asylum seekers, reports RTE.
It is thought that the camp was attacked about three hours after it was set up on the dock last evening at around 8 p.m.
According to sources, the attackers brandished pipes and knives as they broke into the camp, reports RTE.
At the location, eight tents were cut down and thrown into the River Liffey.
Volunteers said that one man misplaced all of his paperwork.
Relocating to a local garda station was the application for International Protection, reports RTE.
