The host of RTE’s The Sunday Game Michael Lyster, will reportedly step down from his role next year.
According to various media reports over the weekend the popular host who began his career with RTE back in 1980, Lyster will hang up his microphone in February 2019 once he reaches the age of 65.
Although Lyster who has become a household name and GAA fan favourite, has yet to officially confirm his retirement, The Sunday Times reports RTE will make an official announcement in the coming days.
