Irish jockey Ruby Walsh has been taken to hospital this afternoon with a suspected a broken leg.
Walsh who was riding in the second race of the day the RSA Insurance Novices’ Chase at Cheltenham, apparently suffered the break when he fell from the horse Al Boum Photo.
The double winner on Monday was taken to hospital were he will undergo a scan.
In a statement the horse owner Rich Ricci said: “He’s been taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg. It’s a shame and I hope he’s OK.”
