A manhunt was undertaken in Russia to find the soldier who killed an officer with an axe before shooting two others dead.
Private Anton Markov went on the run after brutally killing an officer with an axe in the Baltimor Airbase, located near the southern Russian city of Voronezh. According to the BBC, he then took the officer’s pistol and shot two more soldiers dead, wounding another.
Hundreds of special forces soldiers were deployed to find the killer. So far, investigators have yet to establish a motive for the brutal triple murder but have apprehended the suspect.
