Russian President Vladimir Putin sent telegram to King Charles III paying tribute to the Queen

Many world leaders, past and present, have been sending their condolences to the Royal Family over the Queen’s passing.

The 96-yr-old met world leaders from across the world for more than 70 year. She worked right up to the end of her life, including meeting Liz Truss on Tuesday allowing her to form a new government.

Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a telegram to Buckingham Palace, sending his condolences to over the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

“For many decades, Elizabeth II rightfully enjoyed the love and respect of her subjects, as well as authority on the world stage. I wish you courage and perseverance in the face of this heavy, irreparable loss,” Putin wrote.

He will not be attending the funeral, but it’s understood that the list is still being finalised as to who will be attending the funeral.
