Ryan remains under pressure as #IrishFuelProtest organisers remain determined to get him out of the Dail over the ludicrous fuel prices and Carbon Tax

The turnout for the start of the fuel protest mightn’t have been as big as was wanted, but many believe that’s because it was on a Monday and not on the weekend.

Either way, participants are determined to get the Green Party’s Eamon Ryan out of Office.

Social media users are saying that “it’s great to see” so many people descending on the Capital today to protest the outlandish prices at the pumps.

Their demands are as follows:

1 – Petrol Capped @ €1.10 Per Litre
2 – Diesel Capped @ €1.20 Per Litre
3 – Green Diesel Capped @ 65c Per Litre
4- Home Heating Capped @ 65c Per Litre
These figures are inclusive of VAT and are for everyone at home and at the pump
5 – Carbon Tax To Be Scrapped
6 – Eamon Ryan To Step Down With Immediate Effect

Protesters who went to the protest in Dublin say that they want Eamon Ryan to resign from the Dail over this Carbon Tax stance and his ridiculous comments about how people should save fuel.

One social media user said “the arrogance of Ryan will never see his do the decent thing and resign”.

It’s about time that the government starts listening to motorists who are completely fed up to the teeth with the disgraceful prices they’re being greeted with at the pumps.

Irish truck drivers are vowing to lock Dublin down for two weeks in protest against outrageous fuel prices.

The first protest started yesterday morning.

According to the truckers, they have drafted a list of demands for the Government, and they have vowed to stay in Dublin for as long as it takes until these demands are met.

Meanwhile, Transport Minister Eamon Ryan has been conspicuously absent as he appears to be taking a completely hands-off approach to the transport row.
