Ryanair is today warning of major disruption for people intending to travel to Portugal this winter.
The budget airline has confirmed that no fewer than 700 flights into Lisbon have been canceled due to ‘anti-competitive slot blocking.’
Ryanair’s CEO Michael O’Leary said that airport slots are being blocked by TAP Air Portugal, but not actually used, which effectively prevents other airlines from availing of these slots.
