French President Emmanuel Macron was pelted with tomatoes at his first public appearance following the recent election, in a stark reminder of how much he’s disliked by French people.
Mr. Macron was recently re-elected as President, despite the huge backlash against his policies, particularly regarding Covid-19.
He is now well aware that he will be disliked and unwelcomed everywhere he goes.
