Actor Neville Buswell, best known for playing the role of Ray Langton in the long-running soap Coronation Street, has passed away aged 76.
Buswell first appeared on the Street in 1966. He left the series shortly afterwards, only to return in 1968 and staying on for the next ten years.
Notably, the actor was alleged to have assaulted a female minor in his dressing room in the 1960s. He denied the allegations.
