Saoirse Ronan has missed out on the Best Actress Oscar for a fourth time, as Renée Zellweger took the coveted prize home this time around.
Ronan had been previously nominated for Best Actress for her roles in Brooklyn (2016), Lady Bird (2018), and Little Women (2020).
Meanwhile, Joaquin Phoenix won the Oscar in the Best Actor category for his controversial portrayal of The Joker in the eponymous film.
