The feeling of glee was palpable on the Irish news over the past week as they reported on Facebook and their ongoing ban of former President Trump as both Irish outlets included the Trump ban on their primetime news reels.
VirginMedia News reported on the Facebook decision to uphold the ban for a limited time period and even published videos and graphics from Trump’s new website with the banner ad showing SAVE AMERICA.
RTE reported on the ban in their main 6.1 News bulletin but left out the publicity for their viewers.

Trump’s hugely popular social media accounts have been silenced since the day after the deadly January 6 riots when his supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol.
According to the Metro, Twitter has already said that Trump’s account has been suspended permanently, even if he were to stand again for President in 2024.
