Save baby Charlie Gard: The child’s parents collect 350,000 signatures in support for new treatment

Baby Charlie Gard’s parents have collected a total of 350,000 signatures in support for new treatment to help save their baby’s life.

A high court hearing will be held later today in the case of the 11-month-old boy whose medical treatment has made headlines around the world.

Pope Francis has offered to help treat the child at the Baby Jesus Hospital adjoining the Vatican while President Donald Trump has also offered to help the little baby.

The problem is that they cannot do so because he is a UK resident. The court will hear how the family have collected some 350,000 asking for new treatment to be offered to the baby to help save his life.
