It has emerged this morning that the ex-Console CEO Paul Kelly continued siphoning funds off the charity through a credit card for up to a week after financial irregularities were discovered at the organization.
The card, which was under Kelly’s name, was used for purchasing an assortment of household items and to withdraw small sums of money. The usage of the card continued until the High Court froze Console’s assets.
During the subsequent investigation, Mr. Kelly has been revealed to be a man with a long history of deception. In the past, he played the parts of a medical doctor, a social worker, and a priest.
Himself and his wife, who also greatly benefitted from the charity scam, are now living on welfare.
