The scourge of homelessness keeps making headlines almost on a daily basis, and the Government seem rather blasé about its citizen’s plight.
6,709 are now officially listed as homeless across the country, with an all-time high of 1,000 people in Dublin alone.
The Dublin Simon Community has opened a new counselling service in the capital today, to offer advice and comfort in lieu of a Government that considers 5 euro to be an appropriate raise to those who need it most.
