Up to 30% of children are said to be absent in some classrooms around the country with the majority of schools saying that they’re seeing a large number of children not attending this week.
Parents have opted to keep their children safe and give them an extra few days added to their Christmas holidays.
Many people feel that their child shouldn’t be wearing a mask to school and thus have no problem keeping their child out of school an extra few days so that they won’t be have to wear a mask for up to 7 hours a day.
