
Gardaí in Dublin have revealed that they have seized a number of scrambler bikes in Ballymun.
In an announcement made on their twitter page, Gardai say they seized the off road bikes in Ballymun on Tuesday.
It is believed the seizure comes as part of a major crackdown on the use of the bikes which have been involved in a number of incidents in recent weeks.

Gardaí have also warned those who own such bikes that they need a driving licence and insurance in order to use them on the road.
