Police in the UK have said that they have suspended an operation searvhing for two people who went missing over the English Channel last night.
The search operation which lasted over 15 hours was suspended this evening after a number of objects were found in the water.
Police investigating the incident say chances of finding those in board including new Cardiff City FC signing Emiliano Sala, are slim.
According to reports in the UK, Sala who joined the Bluebirds from French side Nantes over the weekend in an £18m deal, was confirmed to be on board by French authorities.
Air traffic control confirmed that the flight was traveling from Nantes to Cardiff when it went missing near Guernsey.
Search operations are expected to resume at sunrise.
