Search teams for Ben Garrett and Anthony Henehan have appealed for volunteers to help search for the two missing men

Michael Cannon contacted The Liberal in an effort to gain volunteers who can help in the search for the two missing men, Ben Garrett and Anthony Henehan.

The base for the continuing search for 2 men missing in Galway switches base back to Liam Mellows GAA Club house , Ballyloughane, Galway.
The search for Anthony Henehan and Ben Garrett will resume today, Monday 11th April at 11:30am from its new base in Liam Mellows GAA Club house , Ballyloughane, Galway. Anthony Henehan from Roscommon has been missing since Thursday March 10th and Ben Garrett from Castlebar has been missing since Thursday March 31st. The search is being conducted by An Garda Síochána with the help of the Irish Defence forces and Oranmore Maree Coastal Search Unit. Searches usually take between 2-3 hours.

The Oranmore Maree Coastal Search Unit is appealing for as many volunteers as possible. For those that volunteer on the search it is essential to have hi-viz jacket, wellies, waterproof clothing and a stick as they will be searching on very challenging and wet terrain and it can get windy at times.

Anthony Henegan is from Kiltoom, Roscommon Native and was last seen entering the water at Wolfe Tone Bridge, Galway.
Ben Garret is a 21 year old solider from Breaffy, Co. Mayo and was last seen leaving a nightclub on Eglinton Street, Galway.
