After being fatally stabbed, the 34-year-old passed away. The inquiry into a murder is ongoing.

In addition, Mr. Carr is charged with violent conduct and attacking and injuring a second man on South Anne Street late Saturday evening. The victim is still in the hospital, reports RTE.

The crimes violate both the Criminal Justice Public Order Act and the Non-Fatal crimes against the Person Act.

The Garda Paul Cummins provided evidence of caution and an arrest charge.

Gda Cummins informed the court that he had detained Mr. Carr at 10:41 p.m. last night, and that he had not responded when he was charged fifteen minutes later, reports RTE.

Although defence attorney Evan Moore stated that there would not be a bail application today, he acknowledged that there will be objections to bail.

After learning that Mr. Carr had no assets and was unemployed, Judge Paula Murphy gave him free legal aid, reports RTE.
