The Teachers Union of Ireland (TUI) has reportedly called off the strike action planned for later this month.
Some 89% of TUI members had voted in favor of industrial action to ensure resolution of a raft of critical issues affecting their roles.
Though the planned action has been called action for now, unions have warned that the possibility of escalation remains, unless a meaningful process is put in place.
