
Secondary schools in the UK will have a staggered reopening following the Christmas break in January.
According to Sky News, secondary schools and colleges will be reopened on a staggered basis in order for rapid Covid-19 testing to take place.
It is understood that students attending classes will be offered two rapid tests whilst, at three days apart.
Sky News reports that the British Government is offering the PCR test in order to help stop the spread of the virus in the wider community following the Christmas break.
However testing will not apply to primary school children or vulnerable students who will return to school as normal.
