Seven new primary schools to be built by 2016

The Department Of Education have recently revealed that seven new primary schools will be built in the next two years.

The announcement was made by Education Minister Jan O’Sullivan who outlined the proposal stating that there will be one school in Cork, four in Dublin, one in Galway and one in Wicklow.

Ms O’Sullivan claimed that four schools will open in 2015, with the other three opening in 2016.
It is thought that the cost of the project will be in the region of €24 million.
